Take my breath away…that’s my first response of Sapa.
The overnight train left Hanoi on time at 9.10pm and arrived a little earlier than expected in Lao Cai (3km from the China border) at 5.35am. The girls quite excited to be sleeping on a train and they all slept well. It’s peak season here and trains to Sapa book up so we had no choice but a 4 berth soft sleeper for the kids and Steve and I shared another 4 berth with another couple. The next overnight train will be 6 berth hard sleeper so the luxury sort of ends here!
The Sapa Summit Hotel is lovely too and we’ve been upgraded to 3 rooms – originally we expected to share altogether. Here is what our 1 star hotel looks like.
And a magnificent view from our 1 star room. And there’s more to come.
Its really looks beautiful how lovely it is to have such a view the up grades have turned out to be great for you is it your looks ,Steve’s charm or your gorgeous four girls ???????? Happy traveling xxxxxxxxxxx
